Lateral garage doors open horizontally. They retract to one side of the door, then along the internal side wall of the garage. They can be opened only partway for easy access for motorbikes, bicycles, and pedestrians. You won’t lose as much heat as any other garage door.

It’s also great for double garages – you can open these halfway when only one car needs to enter or leave!
